| A well-marked Redback Salamander (Plethodon cinereus).
Canoe Trip
| On the scenic Hocking River.
Pointy-nosed Pancake Turtle
| We saw several adults basking on the banks, but the highlight of the canoe trip was when one of the students found this young Spiny Soft-shell Turtle (Apalone spinifera). Click here to see another photo
Crawdad Celebration
| The students celebrated finding the turtle by doing the "Crayfish Dance."
It's Not Easy Being Green
| This Green Frog (Rana clamitans) was caught near a creek.
Welcome Sight
