Additional species of herps found in Brecksville Reservation in 2012

A Red-spotted Newt seen crossing the road on March 12.

Smallmouth Salamander found on March 16.

I heard Western Chorus Frogs calling on March 19 and saw this one close to the shoreline.

A Dusky Salamander encountered on April 29.

I saw my first and only turtle in Brecksville Reservation, this Common Snapping Turtle, on July 13.
