We decided to check out Smoky Valley Lake and turned up this Red Eft - the only one seen on the trip.

I found a Worm Snake.

Worm Snakes don't live in northern Ohio, so the students that never had seen one had an encounter with something new.

The biggest Ringneck Snake I've ever seen, found by Independence High School Biology teacher, Scott Maretka.

A pretty sweet looking Longtail Salamander.
