Today, while walking along the edge of a lake, a large creature jumped out from the tall vegetation and ran about 30 yards, concealing itself. Can you see it in the tall grass?

It was the first ever Bobcat I’ve ever seen in the wild. Fortunately it was just as curious about me as I was about the wildcat, so I also managed to get the photo below.

It was an unexpected and welcome nature sighting.
